Tooth Extractions
If you've been told you need a tooth extraction, you may be having some apprehension about that. What we can tell you is we offer a variety of different ways to make that procedure more comfortable for you.
We use oral sedation here in the office as well. We use nitrous oxide sedation. If that's something that we haven't spoken with you about and you're having second thoughts about having it without some form of sedation, please contact our office as soon as possible.
I don't think there's value in going into the how's and when's with respect to a tooth extraction, but what we can tell you is after a tooth extraction, we want to make sure that you, the patient, are really well taken care of. That will usually include some form of pain reliever, or at least a recommendation of over-the-counter pain relievers.
